3 common fears people have about @gettonedfitness group training

3 common fears people have doing group workouts with us at the studio:

1. being yelled at, singled out and being made fun of

2. being the biggest most overweight person at the studio – the most out of shape

3.  afraid people will be “looking at them” and staring

No matter what gym you go to or workout you do, being in an uncomfortable situation and having fear about the workout process will hinder the efforts to lose body fat. Showing up to the gym and just working out in the first place can be hard enough,  find a group or place you are comfortable with, things will happen a lot easier after that

3 reasons to workout in the “heat”

“hot yoga”

“sweat suits”

“85F studios & garage workouts”

and why you see people exercising in the hottest part of the day

Your 100% and the “get fit” wagon

The first month of workouts is behind us.  We are looking at about 16 more weeks till the weather warms up enough that people will be going outside and feeling self-conscious about their well-being.  By the time February rolls around and you hit the Superbowl, most people fall off the “get fit” wagon.

January 1st we measured in Body Fat % and total inches on our waist here at the studio.  After 4wks I expect around 4lbs-8lbs weight loss average and 2″-4″ inches lost as well.

Today we start to measure out and after this week I will set a different measurement  for next month.  I have already promised a few that we would track Hips so after Feb, getting closer to the March madness we will be working out to burn some extra body fat and measure our hips to see what results we can get.

It takes effort

great effort = great results

Saturday workouts

Saturday workouts are like eating steak & eggs for breakfast – You don’t always have to but when you do, you just feel so much better!!

commit 6wks – join a gym, boot camp, hire a trainer or grab a friend, it doesn’t matter how you commit but give your body type 6 full weeks to adapt to the changes you have made.  The body works in 4-6wks increments so be PATIENT

What would you do for Muffin?

Here is a workout we did last week to combat the calories found in 640 calorie Choc Chip Pumpkin Muffin

SHE ate her half  – she BURNED her half

45 mins and 6400m – both records at the studio
