WHAT HAPPENS TO A PERSON’S BODY WHEN THEY DRINK A COKE (injuryweightloss)

If you’re looking for another BOOST or trick to start losing fat again here’s my Hi-5 to that

  1. Soda – clean out all “regular” sodas and start drinking less “diets” (aspartame)
  2. Cut Dairy and cheese consumption – good for calcium & protein but adds extra calories
  3. Don’t keep extra Juices – good for vitamins but adds extra sugar calories to your diet
  4. Frozen Foods (tv dinners, “health choice” meals) – easy to fix but pack extra sodium and carbs
  5. Sauces/dressings – awesome assortment of flavors out there but most are loaded with sugar and sodium to add taste

If you spring clean your fridge I am most certain your body, your mind and overall well-being will follow.  When you rid yourself of all those extra carbs, starches and sugars, your body will start to take shape by utilizing its natural fat stores from the winter for energy and you will see it all come together as the Summer months approach.  You have to have a balanced approach in your nutrition and physical activity focusing on both aspects because you can’t have too much of one without the other and expect great results.

One Diet Soda a day may be BAD for your health

Daily diet soda tied to higher risk for stroke, heart attack

New Study suggest over 60% chance to develop vascular diseases and heart related illnesses by drinking diet soda daily

I agree with this study although I bought 3 2l for $3 at the gas station today.  Also this study only measured 2500 New Yorkers, who’s to say living in Ky it’s not greater or less of chance to die young from chronic disease?


I believe the increase in consumption of any so-called “soda”diet or not over time will have detrimental effects to health just like smoking cigarettes or taking prescription drugs in excess.

The human body can handle and adapt to almost any situation in moderation.

Even though a little bit may be good, a lot may not be better.

Wait . . . but aren’t all sodas equally terrible? It’s true they all earn 100 percent of their calories from sugar, but that doesn’t mean there aren’t still varying levels of atrocity. Despite the perception of  ealthfulness, fruity sodas tend to carry more sugar than their cola counterparts, and none make that more apparent than the tooth-achingly sweet Sunkist. But what seals the orange soda’s fate on our list of worsts is its reliance on the artificial colors yellow 6 and red 40—two chemicals that may be linked to behavioral and concentration problems in children.

4th of July picnic eating tips

July 4th is fun, dont make it a drag by worrying about what your going to eat.

Keep these 5 tips in mind

  • Eat small – don’t fill up the biggest plate with tons of food, keep it small and simple
  • Share – easy way to save calories is to give them away, split a hamburger with somebody or give the last few bites to the dogs
  • Eat protien first – save the casseroles for Thanksgiving, eat the vegatables instead
  • Moderate – taste all the treats, try to sample something you like.  Don’t pig out
  • Drink smart – be accountable for the sodas and alchohol you drink, some cans are two servings, your body will burn all the alcohol first
