Avoiding diarrhea and certain foods

Celiac Disease causes damage to the inner surface of the small intestine and an inability to absorb certain nutrients

Our 10 Day Food Challenge is coming up and I encourage people to eat more food not less – Diets don’t work (ask somebody who has been on one)

In general, for a Gluten-Free diet avoid the following foods unless they’re labeled as gluten-free or made with corn, rice, soy or other gluten-free grain:
(most of these are processed foods and WRECK people’s digestive systems)

If you have “bathroom problems”, irritable bowl, Chron’s, diverticulitis or any other digestive mayhem, check this food list:

Beer
Breads
Cakes and pies
Candies
Cereals
Cookies and crackers
Croutons
French fries
Gravies
Imitation meat or seafood
Matzo
Pastas
Processed luncheon meats
Salad dressings
Sauces, including soy sauce
Seasoned rice mixes
Seasoned snack foods, such as potato and tortilla chips
Self-basting poultry
Soups and soup bases
Vegetables in sauce
Advertisements
